The Agricoltori del Geografico are a cooperative winery at Gaiole in Chianti, the heart of the Chianti Classico. Founded in 1961 by 17 growers, today’s members number two hundred. Geografico’s mission is to make quality wines accessible to everyone. This is accomplished by producing wines of intrinsic value at a reasonable price. To Geografico, the value of its wines should be tangible to all its customers.

Chianti Classico is the vanguard wine of the Geografico company, but a complete range of Chianti region wines is available, including Chianti Colli Senesi, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Fagnano Chianti Classico, Montegiachi Chianti Classico Riserva, Cerraia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Vigneti del Geografico Capitolare di Bitruica, Brunello di Montalcino, and a delicious, traditionally styled Vin Santo. With the 1997 vintage, Geografico introduced another single vineyard Chianti Colli Senesi Riserva from the Torri vineyard.
